HAUTE MONTAGNE
CABERNET SAUVIGNON
NAPA VALLEY 2021
Emerging from an incredible Estate vineyard above Lake Hennessy that sells its Cabernet Sauvignon for upwards of $300 per bottle, Haute Montagne is a wine for those in the know who enjoy Napa Valley’s upper-echelon Cabernets but also love a great value.
The wine is made by Douglas Danielak, whom you might recognize from making Pont Neuf and Knights Bridge. Doug completed the Winemaking Program at the Lycée Agricole et Viticole de Beaune in Burgundy, France, before earning a degree in Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis. For over two decades, he has dedicated his craft to making exceptional wines in Napa Valley.
This small production of 375 cases of mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon speaks of balance and structure with fine tannins and refreshing acidity with complex, intricate flavors.

“The Haute Montagne Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 begins with an elegant nose of red and black fruits, cocoa powder, white flowers, and baking spices. The complex palate continues with concentrated blackberries, juicy black cherries, red currants, Italian black plums, liquid minerals, dark chocolate-covered espresso beans, and sweet vanilla. It’s made in a concentrated, compact style with firm, focused tannins and a long, sophisticated finish. Enjoy this one now and over the next decade or more.”
