“The Blacksmith C.L.R.T. Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 begins with a nose with briary ripe blackberries, mocha, nutmeg, pie spices, and light florals. The palate continues with black currants, dried prunes, cherry Luden’s cough drops, baker’s chocolate, and cloves. It is ripe on the palate with penetrating fruit, rich flavors, complex aromas, and a medium-long finish. It’s always great to find a ridiculous value in Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.”
