What is terroir? It refers to all of the environmental factors that collectively contribute to a wine’s character and flavors. Things like climate, farming practices, soil type, etc. Reflecting terroir, older vines often provide the best representation of their unique characteristics because the root systems are deeper, allowing more complexity to flow from the earth. Leto’s Old Vine Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect example.
